Show your skills in 3D modeling of the exterior of the buildings in the custody of INAH.

heritage of Mexico is very extensive and we feel very proud of our roots, for it shows itself or with your friends modeling the archaeological sites, museums and historical monuments of the INAH and hone your 3D skills to participate in the National Competition Set Mexico on the map.

just have to recreate Google SketchUp of the 162 buildings selected (from a list you provide) that are in receipt of INAH, create a geo-reference them in Google Earth and upload to the Google 3D Warehouse to immortalize your work on the Internet.

To enter the contest, you're just older and a college student enrolled in any school in Mexico.

1. Begins to shape

can model one of the 162 buildings of archeological sites, museums or monuments, must be made at SketchUp modeling and texturing with digital photos.

2. You must submit your models until November 30, 2009

First, register your team or from 1 to October 31, 2009 in www.mexicoenelmapa.com.mx website and then create a collection in the Gallery where to publish the 3D model of your building.

After creating the collection, we will provide a URL to access the 3D Warehouse. Back to the registration page to enter this URL: this will allow us to relate to members of your team with your model.

models reception will be held from 1 to 30 November 2009, being the latter date.

3. Check out the presentations and the winners

All papers will be available through the 3D Warehouse collection of the national contest in Mexico Put on the map.

On December 18, 2009, results will be published on this page and the National Institute of Anthropology and History, the awards will take place on December 21 in Jaime Torres Bodet Auditorium National Museum of Anthropology .

Awards Prizes will be awarded to authors of works, with due recognition of the institution to which they belong.

Each member of the 5 best papers of archaeological sites, museums and monuments (in total, up to 5 people) will be packages that include:

First place: a laptop computer Mac Powerbook, a reproduction of INAH archaeological , a cultural trip to an archaeological site and also a recognition by the INAH.

Second and third place: a Flip video camera, a reproduction of INAH archaeological pieces, a cultural trip to an archaeological site and a recognition by the INAH.

The fourth and fifth place will receive a cultural trip, and a recognition by the INAH.

Remember that all participants will have the satisfaction of participating in a project that will be watched worldwide through the Google Earth site, also appear on the official Google blog for Latin America and will immortalize his work on the Internet.
